The above ground tank is usually designed for storing flammable and combustible liquids, chemicals including sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide, water and other process liquids or flowable material. Steel tanks can be horizontal or vertical, cylindrical or rectangular, single wall or double wall and may be fabricated from carbon or stainless steel.
