Dome roof tank is one kind of steel container compose of a spherical roof and a cylindrical body. It is simple to construct and low cost. At present, the largest capacity of dome roof tank has reached 100000 m3in China.

Tank bottom is made by steel plates---center plate serves as the center part, margin plate serves as the peripheral part. Tank wall is fabricated by many circles of steel plate with welding method. Tank top is welded by lots of sector plates. Its inner adopts flat steel as reinforcing rib to be more robust and stable.

Special linings are available for storage of fertilizers, potable water, chemicals, etc. Other options include: coned bottom, legs, ladders, cages, handrails, gaug?ing systems, heaters, flame arrestors, sumps, sight glasses and flanges.
